Beach Chairs
Please hose them down before returning them to the garage.
Driving
Do not exceed 35 mph anywhere on the island! You'll get busted.
Fishing equipment
Hose off after use and
replace on garage hangers to properly dry. Advise of any damaged or lost gear so I can
fix. Do not use light rods in the surf.
Garage door
Keep closed. Garage is dehumidified. Rust and mildew are evil.
HVAC
When leaving from your stay, set both thermostats to 60 HEAT in
autumn/winter and to 78 COOL in spring/summer.
Lagoon
1.
Do not swim in the lagoon. 2. You may fish. 3. Do
not feed alligators (see 1.)
Lighting
Do not turn main entry hallway light off at the fixture! It and the landscaping lights are
timed. If you you want to turn on/off either, the computer-controlled
switches are labeled in the main entry hall. Normal operation will resume
next day.
When Leaving
(Family) replace any consumable products, wash and clean the linens, put clean sheets on
the beds and vacuum/clean the house. Put recyclables in blue tray in same
location and take to the dumpsters behind west fire station across the
street. Map Cross Kiawah Island Parkway and take
the 3rd left off Sora Rail Rd.
(All guests) Put trash in can outside against front
deck. Put recyclables in blue tray in same location. Unplug and dump any
water and ice from master suite fridge if you used it. Make sure
media center computer is on and monitor is off. |
